KUALA LUMPUR: The Zeekr 009, a high-end MPV, is available in two configurations: a seven-seater priced at RM349,800 and a six-seater at RM359,800.
Billed as one of the most powerful MPVs globally and a challenger to the Toyota Alphard, it is available in two variants: a Luxury seven-seater priced at RM349,800 and an Ultra-Luxury six-seater at RM359,800. Bookings can be made with a fully refundable fee of RM4,000.
The 009 combines cutting-edge design, world-class comfort, and advanced technology. Measuring 5,209 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width, and 1,812 mm in height, with a 3,205 mm wheelbase, it is spacious enough to provide ample room for passengers and cargo. Exterior colours are Phantom Black, Electric Blue and Crystal White.
The vehicle's dual electric motors deliver 450kW/604hp of power and 693 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100kph in just 4.5 seconds. Its 116 kWh battery offers a range of up to 582 km (WLTP) and supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The interior features first-class Sofaro seats wrapped in Nappa leather. For additional comfort, both front and second-row seats include massage and ventilation functions.
The Ultra-luxury variant also comes with a hidden second-row seat tray. Enhancing passenger convenience, the vehicle includes an 8.6-litre fridge with cooling and warming functions, a dual-chamber air suspension system for a smoother ride, and noise levels rated at just 64.5 dB at 120kph.
Technological highlights include a 15.05-inch OLED centre display, a 17-inch roof-mounted OLED monitor for rear passengers, and a 35.95-inch augmented reality head-up display.
A Yamaha 30-speaker sound system, including headrest speakers, delivers immersive audio. The second-row smart bar provides easy access to climate and seat controls, and an HD camera allows front occupants to monitor rear passengers.
The 009 is equipped with an extensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems. These include Lane Centering Control, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Support, Blind Spot Detection, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Visibility is enhanced with Matrix LED headlights and intelligent lighting systems. A 360° camera and digital video recording system provide additional security and assistance.

In the larger context, another electric premium MPV has been on sale in Malaysia since late last year - the Weststar Maxus MIFA 9. But its performance and levels of luxury trails behind the 009, hence its pricing of below RM300,000.
