It uses a 3.0-litre (2,998cc) turbocharged inline-six B58B30M1 engine producing 340hp at 5,500rpm and 450Nm of torque from 1,500 to 5,200rpm.

It sits on front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension system with Adaptive M Suspension with Sports mode and performance personalisation by the Driving
Experience Control.

Inside, the cabin features a M leather steering wheel with stainless steel M paddle shifters, M logo door sill finishers, electroplated finishing, adjustable sport seats with Vernasca Leather upholstery and ambient lighting complete with the Welcome

The BMW ConnectedDrive service has been extended to include BMW Digital Key to allow for the unlocking and starting of the vehicle with the use of an Android smartphone with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology held to the driver’s door handle to unlock the vehicle.

The engine can also be started by placing the smartphone in the centre console’s charging tray and the BMW Digital Key can be used for up to five additional smartphones for added convenience.
