GEORGETOWN: WMoto has unveiled the ES250i scooter that is priced from RM13,888 excluding road tax and registration.
The ES250i comes with a single-cylinder four-stroke 244.3cc engine that delivers 21hp and 21Nm of torque.
The 4-valve engine also features electronic fuel injection, liquid cooling system and meets Euro 4 emissions standard.
The ES250i has a speed of 100kph and a 12-litre fuel tank for a riding range of 280km.
Adding to safety are 240mm disc brake with front and rear anti-lock braking system in addition to KYB shock absorbers.
Other features include projector and DRL lights that use LED technology, emergency lights, instrument panel with digital and analogue display, and smart alarm key system with scooter locating feature.
Seats are made of anti-slip texture for a more comfortable rider, and there is also a 19-litre underseat storage space and a USB port.
Owners can also install YH Pro brand storage box accessories which are also provided by WMoto at its authorised dealers.
MForce Bike Holdings chief operating officer Asri Ahmad said the ES or Economic Scooter is offered with a competitive pricing.
Available colours are Fiery Red, Midnight Blue and Slate Gray.
Warranty is two years or 20,000km whichever comes first.
