TAIPEI: Volkswagen and US-based charging solutions company Noodoe have launched a high-speed electric vehicle (EV) charging network in Taiwan, featuring the first of the upcoming 360kW DC fast charging stations.
Powered by Noodoe EV OS, the new network aims to serve the increasing number of EV owners with ultra-fast charging capabilities.
"We chose Noodoe EV OS for its industry-leading uptime, ensuring our network operates seamlessly and autonomously," said Volkswagen Passenger Cars Taiwan managing director Steffan Knapp.
The cloud-based Noodoe EV OS can be customised to customer preferences and automates station management, payment processing, and repair and recovery, streamlining the charging experience for users.
The launch of this first charging station marks a major step forward in the development of Volkswagen's charging network and the broader adoption of electric mobility in Taiwan.
