KUALA LUMPUR: Volvo Car Malaysia has just introduced the new Volvo V60 Recharge T8, a modern, versatile plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that balances dynamic performance with functionality.
Featuring a five-door estate bodystyle, the V60 Recharge T8 is priced from RM287,474 and gets a luxurious interior that is space to meet the demands of modern life.
Its blend of plug-in hybrid technology, space and flexibility delivers on the strengths of the Volvo brand of versatile, luxury cars that are designed to meet people’s needs.
The Drive-E petrol engine comes with a turbocharger and a supercharger to crank out 320hp and 400Nm of torque.
Combined to an electric motor, the powertrain delivers a total system output 407hp and 640Nm of torque for an exhilarating driving experience.
The V60 Recharge T8 also produces ultra-low CO 2 emissions when on pure mode and can travel for up to 49km on a single charge while running with all-electric mode.
Volvo Car Malaysia managing director Charles Frump said the addition of the V60 Recharge T8 as a PHEV brings Volvo another step forward in its electrification strategy.
“We are one step closer to realising our aspirations in having a fully-electric line-up by 2030 as we move further into a more sustainable future,” he said.
The V60 Recharge T8 is now available for viewing and bookings at all authorised Volvo dealers in Malaysia.
