Volkswagen Touareg R-Line: Now at RM383K after RM87K price cut

KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has massively dropped the price tag on the facelifted, locally assembled Volkswagen Touareg R-Line to RM382,690 excluding VAP (Volkswagen Assurance Package).

This marks a RM87,300 price reduction for the flagship SUV, which was launched here in March 2024 at RM469,990.

Those who want the VAP need to pay RM17,300.

With VAP, owners will be supported with 5-year service maintenance, 5-year manufacturer warranty and 5-year roadside assistance.

In a statement, VPCM said, "The price adjustment comes in response to positive developments in Volkswagen's local operations and a range of favourable market dynamics, allowing the savings to be passed on to customers."

The Touareg R-Line is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine, producing 340PS and 450Nm of torque.

This SUV has the IQ Light HD Matrix headlights with more than 38,000 interactive micro-LEDs to illuminate the road.

Other key features include automatic self-levelling air suspension, and a Dynaudio sound system with 730 watts of amplification.

It also comes with the IQ.Drive suite, including night vision thus ensuring a luxurious, comfortable and spacious driving experience.
