UMW Toyota Motor transfers more outlets to dealers

PETALING JAYA: UMW Toyota Motor has announced that it will transfer three of its own outlets in the Klang Valley, Sabah and Sarawak to dealers from today in an ongoing exercise to divest itself from retail operations.
Borneo Mobility (Sabah) Sdn Bhd takes over the Kota Kinabalu outlet, Borneo Mobility (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd the one in Kuching and PCM Subang Motor Sdn Bhd assumes control of the Subang Jaya branch.

“It is essential for us to continue achieving high customer satisfaction standards. This allows us to increase intensity on high value-added upstream activities such as product development, marketing and dealer network support. Dealers will continue to deliver customers satisfaction,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Ravindran K.
