The new Corolla Cross also introduces the first-ever HEV GR Sport variant alongside the 1.8 HEV and 1.8V.
The Toyota Hybrid Electric System ensures improved fuel efficiency and smooth, responsive driving for both urban and highway conditions, while the GR Sport variant adds a specially-tuned suspension and performance brace for enthusiasts seeking dynamic handling.
The 1.8 HEV variants are powered by a 1.8-litre 16-valve DOHC VVT-i engine that has been optimised for reduced friction, improved heat management and outstanding fuel efficiency to enable the Hybrid System to deliver a fuel economy of 23.3km per litre.
Its POWER Mode allows a more responsive acceleration, the ECO Mode maximises fuel efficiency, while EV Mode enables silent electric motor drive with zero emissions.
On the exterior, a new front grille design, updated bumper, and sportier Bi-LED headlamps defines the Corolla Cross’s bold new look.
Meanwhile, the GR Sport variant stands out with its exclusive two-tone black roof, enhancing its sporty and athletic character.
