Touch ‘n Go RFID Fitment Centres are now open again
By THE STAR | 14 May 2020PETALING JAYA: Touch ‘n Go (TnG) has reopened a number of its RFID Fitment Centres, following the implementation of the conditional movement control order (CMCO).
“Hi guys! We are pleased to inform that selected Fitment Centres are now open. Hurry and get your TNG RFID fitted to enjoy travel safety and contactless convenience!” it said, in a Facebook post.
It added that customers should continue to practice safe and responsible social distancing measures to ensure the safety of other customers and staff.
Currently, there are 18 RFID Fitment Centres open across Klang Valley, Penang and Johor.
On March 18, TnG closed all its in-person services including RFID Fitment Centres, TnG Hubs and Customer Experience Centres, in line with the government’s movement control order (MCO).
Those who already have an RFID tag, or are travelling through tolls enabled for PayDirect, will also be able to pay using their TnG eWallet, thus avoiding the need to top up their cards at a physical location.
PayDirect enables users to connect up to three physical TnG cards to their e-wallet, so that when paying a toll using said cards, the fee is taken from the e-wallet rather than the card’s preloaded value.
