KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Motors has officially launched its AutoArena car expo at the Kuala Lumpur Sports City, located next to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, here.
From now until Jan 12, the event is open to the public daily from from 9am to 7pm.
Visitors will be able to check out brands including BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, BYD, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo among others as well as premium pre-owned vehicles from Auto Selection.
Sime Motors Southeast Asia managing director Jeffrey Gan said Sime Motors is a leading automotive player and has a wide range of EVs across various marques.
"Leveraging our extensive track record in the automotive industry, coupled with our strong network and robust customer sales care across our brands, AutoArena is a great example of many more unique events and experiences that we look forward to hosting at the iconic Bukit Jalil National Stadium,” said Gan.

Sime Motors and Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia also announced a partnership to help spur the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
As part of the partnership, Sime Motors will provide Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia with two EVs for a period of 24 months to serve as official vehicles for stadium operations.
Additionally, plans to install EV charging stations at the stadium are currently being made to help bolster convenience for current and future EV owners.
Gan added that EV adoption has continued to grow in the country as reflected reflected by the rise in EV sales last year.
"By collaborating with Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia, we are not only supporting their operational needs with sustainable vehicles but also providing accessibility to our broader community with EV charging infrastructure," he said.
Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia chief executive officer Iliyas Jamil said the Bukit Jalil National Stadium is a symbol of national pride and is proud to work with Sime Motors to promote sustainability and green mobility.
