Tesla Model 3 ready for booking from RM189,000
By CARSIFU | 01 September 2023KUALA LUMPUR: Tesla in Malaysia has announced the prices of its upcoming all-electric Model 3 for the local market on its website.
The model is available in the Rear-Wheel Drive and Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Long Range variants, which are priced at RM189,000 and RM218,000 respectively.
The cars are ready for order at the website with the first deliveries arriving later this year.
Standard equipment includes an ultra-responsive 15.4-inch centre touchscreen that can be used to set driving features and cabin settings, voice commands, an all-glass roof, ventilated seats, active safety features like Automatic Emergency Braking, and 18-inch "Photon" wheels at no extra cost.
The Rear-Wheel Drive comes with a range of 513km (WLTP), a top speed of 210kph and a 0-100kph sprint of 6.1 seconds.
Meanwhile, the All-Wheel Drive delivers more performance with a range of 629km and a 0-100kph dash of 4.4 seconds while having the same top speed of 201kph.
The standard colour is Pearl White Multi-Coat while Solid Black and Deep Blue Metallic cost RM5,000 more.
Stealth Grey and Ultra Red will bump the price by RM7,500 and RM11,000 respectively.
Wheels can also be upgraded to the 19-inch "Nova" at RM7,500.
The standard interior is Black but an optional Black and White is available at RM5,000.
Buyers can also choose the optional Enhanced Autopilot that features Navigate on Autopilot, Auto Lane Change, Autopark, Summon and Smart Summon at an extra RM16,000.
There is also the RM32,000 Full Self-Driving Capability option that combines all functions of Basic Autopilot and Enhanced Autopilot.
The local announcement came as Tesla launches the refreshed Model 3 today in China.
