Setel offers contactless refuelling option at Petronas stations

KUALA LUMPUR: Setel, Malaysia's first petrol e-payment solution, has introduced Setel4Me which provides for a pure contactless transaction at select Petronas fuel stations.

The latest update to the app (available for download on Google Play Store and Apple AppStore for free) enables users to remain seated in their vehicle while it gets refuelled by a pump attendant.

At present, there are only five stations offering this service and is indicated by the app (which tracks the app user's location) after selecting the pump number.

The locations are:
- Petronas Bukit Raja NKVE (Klang Bound)
- Petronas Jalam Kolam Ayer, Ampang
- Petronas Mutiara Damansara
- Petronas Sprint Highway
- Petronas Taman Tun Dr Ismail

If available, an option to have a pump attendant refuel your vehicle will be made available.

At present, the app is providing a 10% cashback with select credit cards from Ambank, CIMB, Citibank, Hong Leong, RHB and UOB banks.
