KUALA LUMPUR: Royal Enfield Malaysia has rolled out the new Super Meteor 650 cruiser motorcycle at the recent Desaru Bike Week in Johor Bahru.
The Super Meteor 650 is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine that produces 46hp and 52.3Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a chain final drive.

The Super Meteor 650 features a steel cradle frame, 41mm upside-down forks at the front, and twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload at the rear.
It has dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear, all with ABS.
The Super Meteor 650 comes with a variety of features, including LED headlights and taillights, a digital instrument cluster, a Tripper navigation system, and a slip-assist clutch.
Available in two variants, the standard and touring, the touring version gets additional items such as a windshield, saddlebags and a backrest.

Didi Group chairman Rewi Hamid Bugo said the company was excited to launch the Super Meteor 650 in Malaysia.

He also said the Royal Enfield riding community and leisure motorcycling culture in Malaysia is one of the most active.
"We have been taking extensive feedback from riders here to ensure a perfect motorcycle for them,” he said.
The Super Meteor 650 is available in dealerships nationwide at an introductory price starting at RM37,900 for Super Meteor Single (Astral), RM38,300 for Super Meteor Dual (Interstellar) and RM39,300 for Super Meteor Tourer (Celestial).
