By CARSIFU | 21 July 2020
TOKYO: Japanese auto portal Carsensor.net has reported that the next Subaru WRX-STI will get a 2.4-litre turbo mill, to comply with fuel emission regulations and more driving enjoyment.
According to Carsensor.net, the 2.4-litre direct-injection turbo mill is already seen in the Subaru Ascent SUV, and the seventh generation Legacy and Legacy Outback.
Subaru also plans to fit a 1.8-litre direct injection turbo engine for the next Levorg, and a 1.5-litre direct injection turbo engine to replace the current 2.0-litre naturally aspirated mills, said the Japanese auto portal.
The next Subaru WRX is rumoured to be coming in 2022.
