Renault Malaysia zero sales tax prices: savings start from RM2,691
By CARSIFU | 12 June 2020KUALA LUMPUR: Retail prices for Renault cars in Malaysia have been lowered, in line with the sales tax exemption on new cars from June 15 to December 31, 2020.
A 100 percent sales tax exemption on the locally-assembled (CKD) Captur crossover offers savings of RM2,691.
Meanwhile, with the 50 percent sales tax exemption on fully-imported (CBU) models, savings range from RM6,687 for the Koleos to RM11,670 for the Megane R.S. 280 CUP EDC.
All prices stated are on-the-road, without insurance, for Peninsular Malaysia and private individual Malaysian registration only.
On top of the sales tax savings, TCEC is continuing with the online exclusive offers available through the Renault E-Store in the form of six-month instalment waivers with savings ranging from RM6,600 for the Captur to RM17,000 for the Megane R.S.
Customers who trade-in their vehicles will enjoy further rewards of up to RM8,400.
Additionally, Captur and Koleos customers also get a free five-year/100,000km service package worth RM6,278 and RM7,837 respectively.
