HANGZHOU: Geely's pickup truck marque Radar recently launched the all-electric King Kong with prices starting from 99,800 yuan (RM61,144).
The King Kong replaces the RD6 (which apparently did not meet sales targets), and the single-motor, rear-wheel drive variant produces 180kW and 309Nm of torque.
The rear-wheel drive King Kong is offered in four lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries battery pack variants, namely - 42, 55, 73, and 86kWh and driving range (CLTC) is rated at 310km to 605km.
Meanwhile, the 4WD King Kong variant has a dual-motor set-up with 280kW and 485Nm of torque.
The 4WD King Kong is offered in three battery pack variants, namely - 42, 63, and 73kWh and driving range (CLTC) is rated at 330km to 520km.
Suspension consists of front MacPherson struts and a rear multi-link setup.
