Put a Glohh on your Land Rover Defender L316

LONDON: Automotive lighting company Glohh has unveiled the GL-2, a bespoke taillight for the Land Rover Defender L316 (1990-2016).

Available in two styles, the GL-2 with a deep red lens and the GL-2x with a darkened lens, the new taillights offer modern enhancements while maintaining the Defender’s classic look.

The GL-2 features a dual light impact for increased visibility and fully integrated LED units with all core functions. It incorporates a classic three-light configuration and introduces the Dynamic Start-up Display (DSD), which illuminates sequentially on ignition.

Glohh’s taillights are designed to improve safety in challenging environments, with enhanced indicator, reverse, fog, and brake lights.

The GL-2 units are made from toughened polymethyl methacrylate and Glohh said they have been rigorously tested in Iceland’s extreme climates for durability. The design includes water resistance exceeding IP67 standards, ensuring reliability in off-road conditions.

Priced at £489 (around RM3,000) for the GL-2 and £539 (RM3,215) for the GL-2x, the taillights are a direct plug-and-play replacement for the Defender, meeting international ECE and DOT requirements.

Both versions are available worldwide through Glohh's website and authorised dealers. Glohh plans to release matching front lighting options soon.
