Puspakom to offer free inspections at Karnival Jom Heboh in Johor, Nov 1-3

KUALA LUMPUR: For the first time, Puspakom will participate in the Karnival Jom Heboh (KJH) organised by Media Prima at Plaza Angsana, Johor Baru on Nov 1-3.

The country's first vehicle inspection licensee will also introduce its mobile truck unit at the event.

Also known as Mobile Truck Services (MTS), the roving unit can carry out vehicle inspections and issue valid inspection reports.

Puspakom chief executive officer Mahmood Razak Bahman said the MTS could travel to urban and rural locations to carry out vehicle inspections.

"Therefore, do not miss this opportunity to see for yourself how the MTS operates and better understand the workings of Puspakom," said Mahmood.

He also said Puspakom's participation in KJH with the mobile unit would foster better ties with the public at large.

The free inspection involves 25 inspection parts including brakes, side skids, tyres, suspension, smoke emissions, lights, the bottom and top of the vehicle, window light transparency and more.

Apart from free Voluntary Vehicle Inspection (VVI), Puspakom will also provide inspection on ownership transfer, hire purchase, road tax validity and used/import vehicles.

At the carnival, Puspakom will also provide advisory services related to vehicles, insurance offers and quizzes as well as various attractive prizes for visitors who dropped by the company's booth.

The public are also invited to browse Puspakom's social media sites - Facebook, Instagram and TikTok @puspakomofficial - for more information, and also a chance win a free VVI for private vehicles at the carnival by answering a simple quiz.
