Proton X70 owners can get new N95 Cabin Filter at RM79
By CARSIFU | 12 May 2020SHAH ALAM: Current owners of the Proton X70 can upgrade their dust and pollen filter to the new N95 Cabin Filter for RM79, excluding labour charges.
The N95 filter will be fitted on new units of the 2020 X70 produced at Tanjung Malim, and is part of the new Proton Intelligent Air Purification System (P-IAPS).
The N95 filter can remove 95% of particles larger than 0.3 microns and also removes 98% of PM2.5 dust particulates.
Proton says it is an effective barrier against smoke particulates, dust, bacteria and other pollutants and functions in both fresh and recirculation modes for the air-conditioning system.

The P-IAPS combines both the new N95 filter and existing Air Purifier System, and acts as a barrier against contaminated air making its way into the cabin.
“For now, P-IAPS will only be offered on the X70 but our designers and engineers are working to fit the filter in our other models too,” said Proton CEO Dr Li Chunrong.
From May 13, service appointments can be made at https://www.proton.com/en/after-sales/service-booking or by contacting a Proton service outlet.
A service campaign is also scheduled to run from May 18 – Aug 18, where a 15% discount on the price of the filter will be offered to all X70 owners.
