Proton rolls out new prepaid service package


SUBANG JAYA:  Proton has rolled out a new prepaid service package that customers can choose to buy for their new and existing Proton cars.

The ProCare Smart Plan (PSP) has been rolled out for the Saga, X90 and 2025 X70, promising savings of up to RM670 (depending on models).

New car buyers can opt for either three or five years packages, which would help them cap their running costs for vehicle ownership with the added reassurance that their vehicles would be serviced at 3S/4S dealerships by skillful technicians using only Proton genuine parts.

As an added benefit, these buyers can reduce maintenance costs as they will enjoy savings up to 15% compared to normal service packages.

If the vehicle is sold with the balance of the PSP still to run, the new owner enjoys the benefits as long as it is within the validity period.

Current owners who bought their vehicles without the PSP package will also be offered a similar prepaid service package, though these will be capped to two-year intervals, with the savings of up to RM350 (depending on models).

While the PSP package is currently limited to the three models mentioned, there are plans to eventually roll it out to all Proton models in the near future.

Additionally, Proton will also offer owners the options to finance the purchase of their PSP package should they wish to enrol for it after they have bought their cars.

Fixed Payment Plan (FPP) is available through Affin Avance Proton credit card up to 24 months or customer may obtained instalment payment plan through Direct Lending, a shariah compliant digital lending platform partner, with a monthly repayment period up to 12 months. (terms and conditions apply)
