Proton eyes Grab drivers to boost Saga sales
By CARSIFU | 25 October 2024SUBANG JAYA: Proton today signed a Memorandum of Agreement(MoA) with Grab Malaysia to promote Saga sales to its extensive network of e-hailing drivers.
Proton’s signatory for the MoA was Proton deputy chief executive officer Roslan Abdullah, while signing for Grab Malaysia was its operations and mobility director, Rashid Shukor.
The “Saga Power Up for Grab Drivers” campaign offers cash rebates and 5% service discount starting from Nov 4, and these are valid for the first two years or up to 40,000km, whichever comes first.
During this campaign, there is no limit to the number of Sagas a qualified driver can buy, provided he or she meets Grab Malaysia’s requirements.
In addition to Proton’s package, Grab is offering up to RM500 for new driver-partners who buy a Saga and activate their Grab Driver account.
