KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has forged a strategic collaboration with Affin Bank to offer an affiliate credit card/-i targeted at Proton owners.
The Affin Avance Proton Affiliate Credit Card/-i provides exclusive privileges and benefits to Proton customers when they use it to make payments at authorised outlets.
Privileges to be enjoyed by cardholders include:
> Lifetime annual fee waiver.
> 3X AFFIN Rewards points for dining, online/e-commerce, and transactions at Proton outlets.
> 1X AFFIN Rewards points for other retail transactions.
> Hassle-free Overdraft/Cash line application.
> 0% Easy Instalment Plan for up to 24 months – 0% interest/ profit rate for purchase at Proton outlets including servicing.

At the launch of the card at Menara Affin, Proton deputy chief executive officer Roslan Abdullah said the card was created specifically for Proton customers.
“By offering a host of benefits and privileges, we believe the affiliate card will further enhance the ownership experience while rewarding them when they service their cars or purchase our products.
“Any Proton buyer who finances their purchase with Affin Bank will automatically be offered this new card and we encourage all existing owners to also apply for it to enjoy its special privileges,” said Roslan.

Affin Bank president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said the bank is proud to be a partner with Proton in the year the local automotive company celebrated its 40th anniversary.

At the event, a Proton X90, the latest addition to Proton’s range, was also handed over to a customer who had financed the vehicle using Affin Bank’s hire purchase facility.
