Premiere of 2026 Toyota C-HR+, bZ4X, and Lexus RZ in Europe

BRUSSELS: Toyota will launch the new C-HR+, bZ4X, and Lexus RZ in Europe in the second half of 2025.

Toyota said in a statement that it would be launching the three new models that would span the B-, C-, and D-SUV segments.

2026 Toyota C-HR+

The C-HR nameplate currently refers to a hybrid and plug-in hybrid. But it would move on as an all-electric vehicle (EV). The C-HR+ adopts the e-TNGA platform, and offers a spacious cabin and luggage space of 416 litres, as well as front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.

It has two lithium-ion batteries that include modified battery cells.

The base variant has a battery capacity of 57.7kWh for a cruising range of 455km.

The extended range variant has a battery capacity of 77kWh for a cruising range of 600km.

2026 Toyota bZ4X

Similar to the Toyota C-HR+, the bZ4X has two lithium-ion batteries.

The base variant has a battery capacity of 57.7 kWh and the extended range variant has a battery capacity of 73.1kWh.

Together with making eAxle more efficient, the extended range variant has a longer 70km cruising range, compared to the current model.

It comes with battery pre-conditioning.

2026 Lexus RZ

The new all-electric Lexus RZ features increased motor output, an extended driving range, and reduced charging time.

It also introduces the next-generation Steer-by-Wire System.

Lexus says improvements to the platform enhance the driving performance, while refinements to the Direct4 all-wheel-drive system further elevate its characteristics.

A new addition to the lineup, the RZ 550e F SPORT, comes with higher-output front and rear motors, achieving a maximum system output of 300kW.

Also, Lexus introduces Interactive Manual Drive for the first time, a feature that enhances the excitement of shifting by synchronizing acceleration and deceleration with immersive sound.
