By CARSIFU | 14 January 2023
PETALING JAYA: PLUS Malaysia Bhd has expressed its commitment to add 12 more RFID lanes at 11 major toll plazas on its highways soon.
Responding to the recent calls by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi and the Malaysian Highway Authority for additional RFID lanes, PLUS said toll plazas at Rawang Selatan, Setia Alam, Kubang Semang, Subang, Putra Mahkota, Shah Alam, Jalan Duta, Penang Bridge, Sungai Buloh, Sungai Besi and Kajang would get the smart payment system lanes.
"We expect all additional RFID lanes to be completed in stages by mid-April this year.
"PLUS also advises that all RFID users to always use the same RFID lane or payment mode when entering and exiting the toll plaza, as well as ensuring sufficient eWallat balance before travelling on the highway, for a smoother travel experience," the toll operators said in a statement.
