Petronas to supply full-synthetic engine oil to Bermaz
By CARSIFU | 16 June 2020
PETALING JAYA: Mazda distributor Bermaz Motor has announced an agreement with Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia to supply its Syntium synthetic engine oil to its dealerships.
Bermaz Motor executive chairman Datuk Sri Ben Yeoh said the Petronas lubricants would be used under Mazda's free service maintenance programme from July. At present, the dealerships are using semi-synthetic engine oil.
The use of Synthium would not result in additional costs to customers, said Yeoh, adding that the change would help improve the car ownership experience.
"We will continuously pursue our brand promise, and the ownership experience will remain our core competitive advantage. We want to make a difference."
Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia CEO Hardeep Kirpal Singh said the Syntium engine oil "has Cooltech technology that fights against excessive engine heat for better engine performance."
