Own an electrified used Volvo from RM165K

KUALA LUMPUR: Are you looking to upgrade your daily commute or to elevate your company fleet?

Volvo Car Malaysia is hosting a Volvo Executive Car Sales event where you can find pre-owned Volvo vehicles that have undergone comprehensive testing and inspection at attractive prices starting from RM165,000.

Taking place at Symphony Square, Petaling Jaya on the weekend of Oct 19-20, the event will showcase over 50 Volvo SELEKT cars from Volvo Car Malaysia’s corporate fleet, including those used exclusively by the company’s management.

All cars on sale do not exceed 15,000km in mileage with the lowest clocking in at only 1,200km.

As recently registered cars, all models come with a substantial balance of Volvo’s five-year unlimited mileage warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance, and digital services connectivity.

The fully electric models also add a complimentary five-year Volvo Service Inclusive and an additional eight-year warranty on the high-voltage battery pack, with the same substantial balance applied.

Volvo SELEKT is the brand’s official used cars programme and promises a premium experience for customers through dedicated service and quality assurance.

Once a car qualifies under Volvo SELEKT, it will receive a 125-point inspection and have its software upgraded to the latest version.

Any replacements will be fitted with genuine Volvo parts to ensure that they are road-ready and deliver optimal performance. Most importantly, all the services and upgrades are conducted by trained Volvo technicians.

The fully electric models featured at the Volvo Executive Car Sales event are the C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric (now renamed EC40 and EX40 respectively in Europe) that offer up to 550km of electric range.

Both feature 330Nm of torque for rapid acceleration, going to 100kph from standstill in under five seconds.

For wagon enthusiasts, the highlight is the Volvo V60 Recharge, where fans of this nimble yet practical estate car have one final chance to join the ranks of exclusive owners as Volvo Car Malaysia has halted production in lieu of future fully electric models (Volvo walked back its EV ambitions in September, however. It will continue to build a small number of electrified cars with combustion engines beyond its initial deadline to go full EV by 2030.)

The V60 Recharge can go up to 90km on pure electric power and features 519 litres of rear storage space, expandable to 1,431 litres with the rear seats folded.

In hybrid mode, it consumes as little as 1.4 litres of petrol per 100km, but still has 462hp of power on tap for performance enthusiasts.
