SHAH ALAM: The Proton X70 1.5 TGDi is now available as a Premium X 2WD variant with Quartz Black as an exclusive colour option, starting July 4, 2023.
The new Premium X 2WD variant also has a panaromic sunroof, and is priced without insurance at RM126,800.
Available colours for the Premium X 2WD variant are Space Grey, Snow White, and the exclusive Quartz Black.
In a statement, Proton pointed out that the 1.5 TGDi engine has been assembled in the Tanjung Malim plant since April 2022, which is one of the most advanced automotive engine assembly lines in the country.
The 1.5 TGDi engine produces maximum power of 177ps and maximum torque of 255Nm.
