KUALA LUMPUR: New Proton e.MAS dealer MBf EV Auto Sdn Bhd has opened its showroom here.
In conjunction with its opening on Jan 11, the company also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Teknologi Mara Bhd staff co-operative (UiTMKoop) to set up two 7kW AC chargers at its facilities.
The chargers are open to the public and is free to use.
“We’re supporting the shift to electric mobility, and this MoU will make charging more accessible,” said MBf EV Auto dealer owner Daniel Choo.
Guests at the launch explored Proton’s latest EV technology and joined a lucky draw for new Proton bookings.
The press statement, however, did not provide details on the 3S dealership. CarSifu has asked MBf EV Auto for more information and will update this post when it's forthcoming.
For now, the e.MAS electric brand only has the e.MAS 7 to offer. The SUV, launched last month, is based on the Geely Galaxy E5 with some modifications made to the vehicle to suit the Malaysian market.
The e.MAS brand is distributed by Proton subsidiary, Pro-NET, which also handles the smart electric brand.
MBf EV Auto, a subsidiary of MBf Holdings Bhd, is located at 1, Jalan Langgak Golf, Off Jalan Tun Razak, Kelab Golf di Raja Selangor, 55000 Kuala Lumpur.
