New Mitsubishi 3S centre opens in Petaling Jaya
By CARSIFU | 29 September 2020PETALING JAYA: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia, together with authorised dealer Ingress Motors Centre (IMC), has opened a new Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre (Sales, Service & Spare parts) here.
The new 3S Centre at No 13, Jalan 225, Section 51A, is IMC’s fourth Mitsubishi Motors showroom in Malaysia with the first three in Puchong,
Bangi and Shah Alam respectively.
Including the new showroom in Petaling Jaya, all four of IMC’s showrooms incorporates Mitsubishi Motors’ new corporate brand; represented by its global tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’.
The MMM corporate mark is a powerful statement of Mitsubishi Motors commitment to the values and aspirations of its drivers.
MMM chief executive officer Tomoyuki Shinnishi said MMM and IMC have been business partners since 2013.
"Within seven years, IMC has establish four out of 14 MMM showrooms within Klang Valley. This goes to show IMC’s commitment to further strengthen the Mitsubishi’s brand presence in Malaysia,” he said.
He said the opening of this new showroom is in-line with putting Mitsubishi customers at the forefront and as its utmost priority.
"It is our aim to serve our customers better in terms of sales and aftersales in the central region,” he said.
Also speaking at the new centre launch, Ingress Motors Centre Auto Dealership Division president Rabian Abdul Rahman said:
"I strongly believe that the opening of our new showroom in PJ will pave the way for new Mitsubishi customers.
"There is an enormous market potential here in view of the huge population and promising growth of not less than 1.25% per annum with at least 60% of mid to high income households.”
The centre was built on an investment of RM1.25mil and has a built-up area of over 34,000 sq ft.
It houses a comfortable customer lounge with WiFi and showroom space to display up to four cars.
Its service centre also comes with a fully-equipped workshop with 12 service bays ready to serve every Mitsubishi vehicle.
MMM is now represented by 52 showrooms (out of which 46 are 3S Centres) and 52 service outlets throughout Malaysia.
In East Malaysia, MMM is represented by 14 showrooms (7 in Sarawak and 7 in Sabah).
The Triton 4x4 pick-up truck are imported as CBU (Completely Built-Up) units from Thailand while the ASX Compact SUV and Outlander are locally assembled (CKD) in Malaysia.
