The Ranger FX4 for the Australian market.
PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford in Malaysia, today announced that the new Ford Ranger FX4 is scheduled for launch in Malaysia via both YouTube and Facebook Live on June 3, 11am.“As we embrace the new normal, we also embrace in new ways to bring excitement to our customers, and we are doing so by being the first pickup truck in the country to launch a vehicle simultaneously on both Facebook and YouTube live,” said SDAC managing director Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz.
The Ranger FX4 is also packed with a host of smart technologies and safety features seen in the current Ranger vehicles, including 4X4 Shift-On-The-Fly, rain sensing wipers, the light and nimble Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS), daytime running lights and headlights for better visibility.
It also comes with two airbags, Limited Slip Differential, Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), ISOFIX child seat mounts, Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control, Rollover Mitigation, Trailer Sway Control and Adaptive Load Control.
To celebrate the launch, the first 150 customers who purchase the New Ford Ranger FX4 will receive the following accessories worth RM5,398 for free: a matte black sports bar and executive tinting and in-built Digital Video Recorder (DVR) that offers a range of smart and safety functions including high-definition (HD) recording, wide angle viewing, night view recording and Mobile App connect via Hotspot. It also comes with 8GB memory card.
