New Bentley Mulliner line-up unveiled
By CARSIFU | 02 October 2024LONDON: Bentley has unveiled new Mulliner versions of its fourth-generation Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur, showcasing enhanced design, luxury, and technology.
These models, created by Bentley’s bespoke division Mulliner, represent the brand’s plug-in hybrid grand tourers and are positioned as powerful daily supercars with no compromise on performance or luxury.
The new models are powered by an Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, combining a 4.0-litre V8 engine with an electric motor to deliver 782 PS/771hp and 1,000Nm of torque. This makes the Mulliner range Bentley's most powerful hybrid models yet.
Externally, the Mulliner versions stand out with distinctive design features, including a signature "Floating Diamond" grille, chrome accents, and Mulliner-specific 22-inch wheels available in Tungsten Grey or gloss black.
The Continental GT and GTC models feature unique "cut crystal" headlamps, while the Flying Spur Mulliner comes with a Flying B mascot and a Mulliner wing vent.
Inside, the cabins are a showcase of bespoke craftsmanship, with hand-stitched leather, unique quilt patterns, and a choice of three-colour combinations for a more personalised interior.
Mulliner’s attention to detail extends to illuminated treadplates, deep-pile overmats, and embroidered Mulliner logos on the seats.
The interior of each Mulliner model is customisable with a wide palette of 101 exterior colours, 15 primary hide colours, and several wood veneers.
New wellness and technology features have been integrated to enhance the driving experience.
The models come equipped with Wellness seating, offering Postural Adjust and Auto Climate functions to reduce fatigue. The air conditioning system includes advanced air quality monitoring, ionisers, and a particulate matter filter.
Additionally, the My Bentley App Studio allows the integration of popular apps directly into the car’s infotainment system.
These models combine the performance of a supercar with the quiet luxury of electric driving. The hybrid system allows for up to 81km of electric-only driving in the Continental GT, or 76km in the Flying Spur.
The battery can be fully recharged in just 2¾ hours, thanks to big improvements in charger and battery capacity, with 11 kW peak charging power.
For those seeking high-performance, the combined 782 PS from the V8 engine and electric motor provides impressive acceleration and handling. A new dual-valve damper system and dual-chamber air springs enhance the car's handling and comfort.
All Mulliner models come with Bentley’s latest technology, including a semi-assisted driving system and a customisable digital interface through the My Bentley App. The models also feature touring specifications, animated welcome lamps, and mood lighting.
