myTukar teams up with Daihatsu Malaysia to improve used car selling experience
By CARSIFU | 21 February 2022KUALA LUMPUR: Online used car platform myTukar has partnered with Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (DMSB), a subsidiary of MBM Resources Bhd (MBMR) to enhance and make the used car selling process hassle-free.
DMSB is the sole authorised dealership of Perodua and Hino in the country.
Through the partnership myTukar said it would facilitate a smooth experience for Daihatsu customers to sell their used cars and bring convenience to between 300 and 500 customers daily.
myTukar CEO Derrick Eng said the company is honoured and excited to embark on the new venture with Daihatsu Malaysia Group, a giant in the Malaysian automotive sector.
“The collaboration will leverage myTukar's proprietary technology-enabled platform to speed up the selling process of used cars for all Daihatsu Malaysia Group customers. With this partnership, we want to provide Daihatsu Malaysia Group customers a one-stop platform to sell their old cars and get a new one in return, instantly and transparently,” he said.
myTukar will be a trade-in partner for Daihatsu Malaysia Group, whose partners and customers will now get to enjoy comveniences that include inspection services, collection, settlement and a quicker, smoother payment process.
myTukar will also be supplying certified inspectors to perform on-demand vehicle inspection for Daihatsu Malaysia Group customers.
Daihatsu Malaysia Group managing director Arman Mahadi said myTukar’s comprehensive and intuitive platform would enable customers wanting to sell their used cars and buy a new vehicle within Daihatsu group easiy.
