Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia launches pre-owned vehicle programme

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has launched Max Certified, a used car programme where each unit has undergone a 150-point inspection by a professionally-trained Mitsubishi specialist.

Every car under this programme also comes with a 12-month warranty that covers the repair and/or replacement of the engine, transmission, steering, and electrical components due to mechanical breakdowns.

Max Certified vehicle buyers will also receive a RM500 service e-voucher redeemable at authorised MMM service centres during periodic maintenance.

All pre-owned Mitsubishi cars sold under this programme are aged seven years and below with mileage less than 180,000km covered at the time of trade-in.

These cars are also equipped with genuine parts from MMM authorised service centres, free from major accidents and flood damage, and come with a complete service record from Mitsubishi Motors authorised service centres.

Under the Max Certified programme, customers can browse through Mitsubishi pre-owned models at Mitsubishi Motors dealers and trade in their vehicles for new units.

“In addition to strengthening the Mitsubishi brand within the used car sector and building the residual values of Mitsubishi vehicles, Max Certified aims to improve customer retention. We also hope to offer those who are interested in purchasing a used Mitsubishi car a more accessible and trustworthy platform,” said Shinya Ikeda, CEO of MMM.
