MINI Electric updated for 2023, priced from RM199K
By CARSIFU | 10 January 2023KUALA LUMPUR: The MINI Electric has been updated for 2023 and is now priced at RM199,164. It was launched today along with the refreshed BMW 3 Series.
The latest MINI now arrives in Nanuq White exterior colour with panaromic sunroof and has a seat heating feature.
As before, the three-door hatch comes with standard adaptive LED headlights, 17-inch Electric Power Spoke wheel with run-flat tyres, mirror caps in yellow/black and roof in black. Interior finishing includes Carbon Black leatherette and Anthracite headliner.
The car is powered by a asynchronous electric motor developed by the BMW Group – a front-axle electric engine capable of 135kW/184hp, as well as a 12-module T-shaped battery unit with a net capacity of 28.9kWh.
It shares a peak torque of 270Nm with its predecessor, and emits zero carbon emissions locally while consuming 17.6 –15.2kWh per 100km of travel.It offers a maximum speed of 150kph and a driving range of up to 232km (WLTP).
It can also make the century sprint in 7.3 seconds. It continues to offer a range of charging capabilities, whether at home or at a public charging facilities.
When recharging at a DC charging station, the MINI Electric - also known as Cooper SE - requires only 36 minutes to go from 0 to 80% charge.
