The new MINI product made its world premiere at Auto China 2024 in Beijing.
The vehicle, measuring just over four metres in length, accommodates five seats and boasts a luggage compartment with a volume of up to 1,005 litres. With a predicted range of up to 406km in the WLTP test cycle, the Aceman offers emission-free mobility.
Featuring a design style dubbed "Charismatic Simplicity," the Aceman embodies sporty agility and a self-assured presence. Its exterior design emphasises a streamlined front-end, expressive headlights, and a functional two-box design.
The vehicle's progressive character is further accentuated by its distinctive body finishes and four individual trims, catering to various tastes and preferences.
Inside, the Aceman boasts a purist design with wide-ranging material options, creating an open and amply proportioned atmosphere.
The cockpit features a central OLED display and a remodelled toggle bar, reminiscent of the classic Mini, along with spacious door interiors and comfortable seating for five passengers.
In terms of technology, the Aceman offers innovative features such as the MINI Operating System 9, MINI Experience Modes, and the brand's first fully-fledged voice assistant. Advanced assistance systems enhance safety, while digital services like MINI Connected upgrades and the MINI Digital Key Plus option provide convenient connectivity and intuitive interaction for users.
The Aceman is available solely with an all-electric drive, with two variants: the Aceman E and the Aceman SE.
The former features a 135 kW electric motor with a range of 310km, while the latter boasts a 160 kW motor with a range of 406km.
MINI said both models offer sporty agility and outstanding driving dynamics, thanks to precise damping systems, direct steering, and various driving stability control systems.
Charging the battery is via alternating current charging at 11 kW and fast charging with direct current at up to 95 kW.
The MINI App provides transparency and simplicity throughout the charging process, allowing users to optimise battery charging and monitor charging status remotely.
