Mercedes-Benz Places Miami begins second tower sales


MIAMI: Mercedes-Benz and US-based JDS Development Group have started sales for the second tower at Mercedes-Benz Places here.

The launch event on Feb 5 saw the opening of a dedicated sales gallery and the unveiling of the Silver Arrow Lounge, marking the latest milestone for the brand’s first US real estate project.

Covering over 2.5 million square feet, the development is one of the largest under construction in Florida.

Following the rapid sell-out of 100 residences in Tower 1 earlier in 2024, attention has now shifted to Tower 2, a 67-storey building set to redefine luxury living.

The newly opened sales gallery offers potential buyers an insight into the high-end interior design of the residential suites.

It also provides a first look at the Silver Arrow Lounge – an exclusive rooftop retreat featuring a 16-metre swimming pool, a generous sun deck and a design aesthetic inspired by the iconic Mercedes-Benz “Silver Arrows” racing heritage.

The residential complex, situated in Southside Park, is further enhanced by a comprehensive reimagining of its surrounding landscape. Renowned landscape architects Field Operations are designing topographically sensitive pathways that meander through native vegetation and tree canopies.

The outdoor area will also include multi-use playgrounds, padel and basketball courts, expansive green spaces and connectivity to the adjacent Underline Park system.

The striking cuboid tower, characterised by its stacked and offset volumes, reflects Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.

The development features a private porte cochère that offers residents a luxurious entrance, while the lobby and living spaces benefit from the installation of up to 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and bespoke kitchen and bathroom designs.

The project, developed in collaboration with SHoP Architects and Woods Bagot, is designed to set a new benchmark in precision and quality.

Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions GmbH and JDS Development Group are aiming to create an integrated urban living experience with around 800 residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom condominiums, offering views over Miami, Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

In addition to residential units, the development will boast more than 130,000 square feet of amenities and hospitality space, supplemented by 250,000 square feet of premier office space, health and fitness facilities and a 174-key hotel.

Sustainable features include EV charging stations, bicycle and scooter sharing, valet parking and dedicated house car facilities.

Innovative mobility and digital solutions will be developed in conjunction with commercial property technology platform ReWyre, with anticipated occupancy for the second phase scheduled for 2027.

Sales for Phase 2 are being managed by SERHANT, an American real estate and media company focused on next-generation neighbourhoods.
