Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance arrives in Malaysia
By CARSIFU | 05 May 2023SERDANG: Cycle & Carriage presented its latest offering of luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023 which runs until May 7.
Featuring electrified EQ and high-performance AMG models, visitors will be able to get a hands-on experience with the German automotive brand's impressive range of exceptional vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, the most powerful Mercedes-Benz production vehicle to date, that also happens to be a plug-in hybrid. It is priced at RM2.1 million (on-the-road without insurance).
The four-door coupe is equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 AMG biturbo engine delivering 470kW and supplemented by a 150kW electric motor powered by an ultra-light high-performance battery.
Featuring a combined system torque of 1,400Nm, the GT 63 S E Performance develops instant power and can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 2.9 seconds.
In addition, the public got an up-close experience of Mercedes-Benz’s selection of vehicles on display, including the Mercedes-Benz E 300, C 300, GLC 300 e Coupe, GLS 450, and the newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic.
Cycle & Carriage also showed visitors the Mercedes-EQ series including the EQB 350, EQE 350, and the new EQS 500.
To give visitors additional hands-on experience, test drives were also provided for some of the latest models, such as the Mercedes-Benz C 200, GLC 300, the Mercedes-AMG GLA 35, and the EQA 250 by Mercedes-EQ.
Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Thomas Tok said the Mercedes-Benz dealership wanted customers and fans of Mercedes-Benz to get a tangible taste of premium luxury vehicles that are future-forward while elevating their lifestyle.
The show is held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang.
