The CX-90.
LOS ANGELES: Mazda has announced it will stop selling the CX-9 in the United States after the 2023 model year.It will be replaced by the CX-90.
As the new flagship model, the three-row CX-90 is built on Mazda's all-new large platform as opposed to the Ford underpinnings in the original 2006 CX-9 and later the Skyactiv platform seen in the second generation.
The all-new CX-90 is wider, longer, and has more aggressive proportions that suit its high-performance appearance and refined stature.
It is available with all-new electrified powertrains, including an inline 6 turbo and a plug-in hybrid, that offer drivers enhanced performance and efficiency.
The all-new large platform features a front-engine, rear-wheel-bias longitudinal layout to offer improved driving performance.
The CX-90 is equipped with Kinematic Posture Control, which first debuted on the MX-5 Miata, a software feature that suppresses body lift on tight corners to enhance the grip and allows all occupants to maintain a natural posture.
As with all Mazda vehicles, the CX-90 seeks to maintain the same level of safety standards as Mazda's other products with many standard i-Activsense safety features, such as Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Mazda Radar Cruise Control, and other new features that will help enhance the confident experience for all occupants.
The vehicle also features larger displays, accompanied by physical buttons that complement the interior styling.
New Mazda technologies, such as the See-Through View monitor, assist the driver in a variety of parking situations through the 12.3-inch centre display.
