Mazda to open Tokyo R&D office


HIROSHIMA: Mazda Motor Corporation will open a new R&D office in Tokyo in early summer 2025.

As part of its 2030 vision to be a "car-loving company", the R&D office in the capital city would prioritise software development and foster partnerships with universities and businesses.

The facility would also serve as a hub for innovation, helping Mazda stay competitive in both software and hardware advancements.

The company is also making workplace improvements, aiming to create a more collaborative environment for employees.
