PETALING JAYA: A man was arrested for damaging his former employer’s luxury car after he was fired from his job last Wednesday.

Bernama reported that Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said last Tuesday, that the police received a complaint from a security company owner who claimed that an individual he knew had damaged his Lamborghini Urus.

"The motive behind the act was because the suspect was not satisfied after he was fired from his job by the complainant. The suspect used to work as a driver for the complainant's wife.

"The front bonnet and the side mirror of the car are believed to be dented, while the front mirror and front bumper are broken,” he said in a statement yesterday.

ACP Azam said the suspect, a 27-year-old local man, was arrested at the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters compound and was found to have a past record of various criminal cases, while he tested negative for drugs.

“The suspect is currently remanded for four days starting Aug 29 until Sept 1 and the case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief,” he added.
