KUALA LUMPUR: A new Malaysia Book of Records achievement has been set with a mass gathering of 902 Harley-Davidson motorcycles at the Velocity Motor Show 2022 held at Stadium Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur recently.
Harley-Davidson owners and their motorcycles from all over Malaysia were present for the effort.
The record was made possible with the collaboration between Didi Group (Harley-Davidson official distributor in Malaysia), Velocity Motor Show (VMS), Harley-Davidson Asia Pacific and its official Harley-Davidson dealers in Malaysia.
Velocity Motor Show 2022 is an automotive event themed around automotive lifestyle and music.
Didi Group general manager Juan Chow Wee said it was an exciting day for all the Harley-Davidson owners able to gather at one venue after being prevented from doing so for a long time under the Covid-19 restrictions.
Juan also said the event was also an opportunity for the public to view various motorcycle brands under Didi Group such as Royal Enfield, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia and more.
"The record would not have been possible without the assistance of VMS headed by Jason Tan who is also the founder of the automotive event," Juan said.
