KYB RS Ultra shock absorber range promises better ride
By CARSIFU | 02 June 2020KUALA LUMPUR: Leading global shock absorber maker KYB has developed its RS Ultra range to provide motorists with better driving and ride comfort.
First introduced for sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), the RS Ultra range is also available for the B- and C-segment cars such as the Perodua Myvi, Perodua Viva, Proton Saga and Toyota Vios.
KYB is in the process of making RS Ultra versions for the Peodua Bezza, Honda City and Proton Waja.
The RS Ultra range is designed for durability and longer life span while offering motorists with a comfortable ride.
Its hard-chromed piston rod reduces friction, along with the multi-lip oil seal and sintered iron rod guide for longer service life.
For a comfortable ride, a 3-stage compression valving unit is used for providing smoother action and a 3-stage rebound valving unit results in better control and ride.
Its seamless eye ring is designed against breakage while its high-grade fluid suits all-weather conditions.
All KYB shock absorbers come with codes and serial numbers to identify their suitability for each make of cars.
This will help motorists to choose the right shock absorbers for their cars and provide optimum handling performance and safety on highways and rough roads. — EDDIE GOH
