KLIMS 2024 offers lucky draw prizes worth up to RM250,000
By CARSIFU | 14 November 2024KUALA LUMPUR: After a six-year hiatus, the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) is set for a highly anticipated return and dazzling display at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) here from Dec 5 to 11.
Organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), the seven-day show will feature 70 exhibitors, nine new car launches and the display of eight concept car.
Its theme of "Beyond Mobility" highlights the key trends shaping the future of the automotive industry through sustainability, electrification and autonomous driving.
Among the participating brands are Perodua, Proton, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Kia, Great Wall Motor, Morris Garages, XPeng, Modenas, Kawasaki and Aion.
Participating automotive-related service and product providers include GoInsurans, Allianz Malaysia, KINETA, Llumar, PECMAN, Perma Glass, TOMCARE and V-Kool.
The MITEC exhibition halls, covering nearly 30,000sq m over two levels, offer an expansive platform for automotive enthusiasts to experience innovation and engagement at every turn.
Aside from displays, there will also be lucky draw prizes worth up to RM250,000 for visitors including a grand prize of a Toyota Yaris 1.5G Limited in Platinum White Pearl with a 2-tone colour scheme worth (RM105,000) and first prize of a Perodua Axia in striking Lava Red (RM44,000).

MAA president Mohd Shamsor Mohd Zain said the 10th edition KLIMS serves as a crucial platform for the automotive industry to showcase its latest advancements, providing insight into transformative trends such as electric vehicles (EVs) and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
"With the Malaysian government’s ongoing commitment to sustainable and innovative mobility solutions, including incentives for EV adoption and policies supporting green technology, we see an exciting trajectory for our automotive sector," he said in a press conference today.
He also said KLIMS 2024 is expected to draw some 250,000 visitors.
In partnership with R&D F1 Simulation as the official licensor and die-cast cars provider for KLIMS 2024, attendees can enjoy a special display of four iconic Ferrari F1 cars.
Visitors can get to view the evolution from Schumacher's legendary era to Charles Leclerc's modern speed machines, and have the chance to purchase exclusive miniature Ferrari die-cast cars.
The event will also showcase exotic vehicles from automotive clubs across Malaysia.
