KL City Hall repairs sinkhole near TRX building
By THE STAR | 08 December 2020
KUALA LUMPUR: City Hall (DBKL) has taken immediate action to pave and patch a sinkhole that appeared along Jalan Tun Razak near the TRX building in Kuala Lumpur this morning.
“The cause of the sinkhole was due to a ruptured outlet pipe, ” said a DBKL post on its social media page at about noon.
“DBKL took swift action to repair the site to ensure users’ safety and prevent prolonged traffic jams at this high volume stretch.
“Repair works were completed this morning and traffic flow is expected to resume as usual.”
It was reported that the sinkhole on the left lane of Jalan Tun Razak (heading towards Bukit Bintang direction) caused a crawl that stretched from the TUDM building along the KL-Seremban Highway and a backlog along Jalan Yew.
