LOS ANGELES: Kia America has unveiled its all-electric EV3 and EV4 concept models at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Concept EV3 is a compact crossover that draws inspiration from Kia's flagship SUV, the EV9.

It features a unique exterior design with a sloping roofline and a disconnected C pillar, creating a floating effect. The interior offers practicality and a transformative cabin ambience, with soft mood lighting and advanced ergonomic seat design.

The Concept EV4, on the other hand, is a four-door sedan that represents the purity of the "Power to Progress" design philosophy.

It features a low nose, a long-tail silhouette, and a technical roof spoiler. The interior has a sleek and spacious horizontal layout, with handwoven fabric stripes and the use of natural dyes and recycled cotton.

Both concept models showcase Kia's commitment to using sustainable materials, such as bioplastic and bio polyurethane as a replacement for animal-based leather.

Kia introduced these materials earlier this year at the launch of its EV9 flagship electric SUV.

The company aims to gauge consumer reaction to these concept models and expand its EV lineup.
