KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is showcasing the superior handling and capabilities of its Xpander seven-seater crossover and the Triton pick-up truck in the Mitsubishi Ultimate Thrills!
The outdoor experiential event will take place at two venues.
1. Beside AEON Mall, Lembah Sireh, Kota Baru, Kelantan from 10am-6pm on Aug 25-26.
2. Opposite Mitsubishi Motors authorised showroom, Alor Setar from 10am-6pm on Sept 8-9.
Xpander.
Visitors to the event can test drive the Triton and Xpander through a few obstacle courses that are designed to challenge the good handling of the Mitsubishi cars.
The Devil’s Angle will see participants go through a water-wading obstacle to showcase Xpander’s versatility to handle rough roads or flash floods with its high ground clearance of 205mm.
Xpander.
Another exciting course is the Side Traverse, which is specially designed to test Xpander’s agility and superior handling.
In addition, visitors can also test the Roller Conveyor which unveils Xpander's excellent safety where the car’s Traction Control helps to maintain traction on slippery or rugged surfaces.
Triton.
As for the Triton pick-up truck, visitors can immerse themselves in the Hill Slope encounter that is meticulously built to showcase Triton's Hill Start Assist making it easy to start off on a steep uphill slope.
The obstacle course continues with the enthralling Downhill slope where visitors can put the Triton's Hill Descent Control to the test, affirming its prowess in automatic brake application on downward inclines.

Participants can also take on the Mud Pit and Elephant Steps challenge which showcases the Triton’s off-road mode for extra traction and its Super Select 4WD II system delivering optimum traction and handling for any given terrain.
