Jetour T2 i-DM hybrid SUV launched in Qatar

DOHA: The Jetour T2 i-DM hybrid SUV (sport utility vehicle) was launched in Qatar on Christmas Day following the world debut of the T2 combustion engine model in the same country over a year ago.

The hybrid SUV boasts a pure electric range of 139km (NEDC) or up to 70km (WLTP).

It is powered by Jetour's advanced i-DM hybrid system, which integrates a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a dual electric motor setup, delivering a combined output of 280kW (380hp) and a maximum torque of 610Nm.

Jetour claims the T2 i-DM hybrid has a driving range of over 1,000km and rates fuel consumption at 0.8 litre per 100km.

The exterior design is bold and modern, and features the signature Jetour Light and Shadow Grille, multi-beam LED matrix headlights, and a body sculpted under the philosophy of “Vertical and Horizontal Design”.

Inside, the cabin features ventilated leather seats, a 64-inch panoramic sunroof for an open, airy feel, and a 15.6-inch central touch screen powered by the Snapdragon 8155 processor.

Other highlights include multi-layered soundproof glass and a 12-channel Sony premium Hi-Fi system.

A high-energy 26.7kWh battery pack means the T2 i-DM's air-conditioning can operate independently without starting the engine.

The T2 i-DM also features a 3.3kW external power supply, for running camping equipment and appliances during outdoor adventures.

It retails in Qatar at QAR 149,000 (RM183,000).
