Hyundai unveils high-performance Elantra N TCR Edition
By CARSIFU | 19 November 2024SEOUL: Hyundai Motor has introduced the Elantra N TCR Edition, branded as the Avante N TCR Edition in South Korea, showcasing motorsport-inspired upgrades.
This high-performance sedan draws from Hyundai's success in the TCR World Tour, where the brand has been competing since 2017.
The TCR Edition features lightweight enhancements, including a carbon swan neck spoiler designed to optimise downforce based on driving conditions. It comes equipped with 19-inch forged wheels and high-performance four-piston brakes, reflecting Hyundai's racing pedigree.
The model’s motorsport roots is evident in its interior and exterior, with TCR-specific decals (exclusive to the South Korean market), Alcantara steering wheel with a Performance Blue marker, and matching seat belts. Unique badging further distinguishes the TCR Edition.
Hyundai plans to launch the Elantra N TCR Edition in South Korea in December, with a global rollout expected next year.
The new model is aimed at delivering a racing-inspired driving experience for enthusiasts in everyday settings, according to Hyundai N Brand Management Group vice president Joon Park.
