Harmony Auto opens Skudai's first BYD showroom
By CARSIFU | 11 October 2024JOHOR BARU: Harmony Auto Group, a leading automotive dealership in China, has opened of its second BYD 3S centre - the BYD Harmony Auto Skudai 3S centre here.
Spanning over 15,000 sq ft, the centre features six service bays and a well-stocked spare parts department, offering genuine BYD parts and accessories.
It also has three outdoor 150kW DC fast chargers, powered by EV Connections and accessible via JomCharge app.
The facility will also offer test drives.
As a distributor of BYD vehicles in Malaysia, Sime Darby Motors plays a key role in introducing electric cars to Malaysia.
“The opening of the BYD Harmony Auto Skudai 3S centre marks a significant milestone in our journey to drive electric vehicle adoption in Malaysia. We are proud to partner with BYD, and together, we are accelerating the transition to the future of mobility,” said Sime Darby Motors managing director (Southeast Asia) Jeffrey Gan.
“As one of the pioneers in new energy vehicle development globally, BYD has spent 30 years in mastering key technologies across the entire industry chain, including batteries, motors, electronic controls, and automotive-grade chips," BYD Asia Pacific Auto sales division general manager Liu Xueliang.
"We will also be launching two new BYD models and establishing new Denza sales centre, providing Malaysian drivers with even more high-quality choices,” said Liu.
In celebration of the opening ceremony, Harmony Auto delivered the first six BYD vehicles to its customers.
