By A. NACHI | 17 June 2022KUALA LUMPUR: The new Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and Low Rider ST are finally here after a delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Both motorcycles offer the handling performance of the Harley-Davidson Softail chassis and V-Twin muscle of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain.
The 1,923cc engine delivers 105hp and 170Nm of torque.
The Low Rider S and ST come with a tall rear monoshock which raises the rear of the motorcycle, underseat hydraulic preload adjustment for better suspension performance, dual front brakes with 300mm discs with ABS.
The Low Rider S gets an analogue LCD combination design, sees the clock for the bike shifted from tank to handlebars.
The handlebar on this model is lower than the ST giving an easy rider feel.
The bike look is further enhanced with textured black tank console with FXLRS branding now tops the fuel tank.
This cruiser is fitted with single seat, mid-mount foot controls, and a mini speed screen fairing with headlight.
The engine and exhaust are totally blacked out, with cast-aluminium wheels finished in Matte Dark Bronze to contrast with the rest of this bike priced at RM115,900 (excluding registration, road tax and insurance).
The Low Rider ST has a front fairing along with panniers sitting high on the subframe, and the rear suspension to give the bike a jacked-up look.
The handlebar is high, offering riders an upright sitting position, and the FXRT-inspired fairing is frame-mounted on the front end of the bike.
Prepare to pay RM125,900 (excluding registration, road tax and insurance) for this set of wheels.
